Norwid Mechow’s (DDR) contribution to the archive is a little wooden box with two photographs and porcelain shards.

Apparently ceramics are still circulating in the mail system. Danish ceramic artist Nina Hole’s exhibition at Grimmerhus Ceramic Museum in Denmark –  Friends and Fire-mades – exhibited mailed ceramics from 172 artists. She invited other artists to mail their works in little matchboxes. More information here.
